This weekend I had a crazy seafood craving. Beetlecat had been on my weekend visit list for some time now, so I was more than excited to make a reservation for myself and a girlfriend to try it out. Known for their lobster roll and unique array of oysters, my taste buds had high expectations.
Featuring raw oysters and fresh seafood with international influences from executive chef Andrew Isabella, BeetleCat is a trendy restaurant and bar in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood.
We decided to start with a Rum Runner and an Old Fashioned which were great prequels to our oyster selection and shrimp toast. Did I mention their oyster bar downstairs? We were given an array of fresh oysters to choose from. I am not an oyster person (at all), but I could not resist.
Our oyster selections:
Peter’s Creek
Murder Point
Royal Miyagi
For our entrees, we ordered the Salmon Miso and lobster roll. Our waitress recommended we order a side of rice to pair with the Salmon Miso and she was spot on. You’ll absolutely love this pairing. This honestly was some of the best salmon I’ve had in Buckhead.
Be sure to put Beetlecat on your radar this Summer!
