Places To Explore in Charlotte, NC

A girl's trip is the perfect weekend getaway as the seasons start to warm up. We made our way to Charlotte this past weekend and explored very cool places. From museums to restaurants, I'm sharing a few places you should visit if you're ever in Charlotte, North Carolina.

PLACES TO EAT:

Tupelo Honey Cafe

Tupelo Honey first opened its doors in Asheville, NC in 2000. Considered one of the pioneers of Asheville's farm-to-table movement, we’ve continued to serve fresh, scratch-made Southern fare and put new twists on old Southern dishes and cocktails.

I'm still thinking about those shrimp and grits! Tupelo Honey was the perfect spot for our morning brunch. Everything tasted delicious!

Modern casual fine dining restaurant that features global cuisine and global-inspired sushi rolls.

PLACES TO EXPLORE:

Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, formerly known as the Afro-American Cultural Center, is in Charlotte, North Carolina and named for Harvey Gantt, the city's first African-American mayor and the first African-American student at Clemson University.
