Styling My Credenza

When I made my move to Buckhead, I knew that I wanted to create a space that would allow me to feel creative all throughout.

I love textures, patterns, and prints. My challenge was finding the perfect way to integrate these favorites and build my overall interior theme. Deep pinks and rich purples were already on my mood board. Those colors are what drove my very first decor selections.

Building My Gallery Wall

My credenza + TV wall are both right at the center of my home. Knowing this, I began my search to find the perfect prints to define this statement wall. I turned to Etsy in search of some unique pieces. I instantly fell in love with these flower-heads. I’d always wanted a Basquiat and Haring print so I was sure to add those as well. You can shop my other prints here.

Adding Some Green + Extra Lighting

As a plant mom, I knew that my credenza area would feature at least two plants. My monstera, of course, had to have it in a special place out front. Who doesn’t love looking at those leaves all day? I also added my extraterrestrial pencil cactus. My final piece came with the addition on my marble base Floor Lamp.

Finishing Touches

To fill in the extra space between the TV and the credenza, I added a few coffee table books. Coffee table books like Hip Hop at The End of The World are great conversation starters for your guests. And of course I had to include a candle to set the tone.
