How do you decide what to wear to a night honoring women in STEAM? I couldn't tell you the last time I got a dolled up for a gala. I'd have to think even father back to when I wore a full-length gown. None the less, I was more than excited to begin my search for a dress for the WIT Awards?
What are the WIT Awards?
If you've followed me for some time now, you'll know that I serve as the digital marketing manger for an amazing organization in Atlanta - Women in Technology.
Each year, Women in Technology hosts the WIT Awards celebrating women in STEAM who live in the state of Georgia for their accomplishments as leaders in business, visionaries, and women who make a difference in their communities. These women are trailblazers within their community and catalysts for change who have made significant contributions as innovators and business leaders.

When it came to the dress, I knew I wanted some stylish and feminine. Having working on the social media, print collateral, and award deck, I also had in mind to match my designs.
I searched high and low until I came across this stunning magenta gown from Saloni. The color is what caught my eye, what a perfect match to pair with WIT! I was also completely taken by this cut. There's something so stylish and chic about a high neck + shoulder combination. I knew this would be dress for me!
